Redwings Horse Sanctuary
To educate the public about the care and plight of equines and to protect them from abuse and slaughter. Redwings provides permanent sanctuary for equines in need. Each animal is evaluated for their physical, emotional spiritual needs. Once an animal comes to us and makes a friend...they are kept together for the rest of their lives.
Arabian Horse Rescue Network
We have placed well over 100 horses. There are probably 40 or so that were placed so quickly that we never even got them on our website. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all for making the AHRN what it is.
Jolene's Horse Rescue
Jolene's Horse Rescue is dedicated to the rescue of those unfortunate horses bound for slaughter. We work directly with the killer buyers in Southern California and New Mexico, where our people find purchasers for the animals destined for a 1,500 mile trek to the packing plants in Texas.
TIER - True Inoccents Equine Rescue
TIER rescues abused, neglected, and unwanted horses. We also work to find homes for horses that have fallen into the hands of killer buyers and, when funds allow, purchase needy horses directly from low end auctions. Once a horse in our care has been rehabilitated (if needed) and is deemed "ready for a new home", we strive to find Safe, Responsible, Loving, Caring homes for them through our adoption program.
CALIFORNIA EQUINE RETIREMENT FOUNDATION, INC.
CERF's purpose, the assistance and retirement of Thoroughbred geldings, was implemented by the establishment of a placement service through which ex-racehorses could go on to other careers, and the offerings of permanent retirement to well-known geldings who were no longer able to perform.
H.O.R.S.E
You can now help H.O.R.S.E. Rescue & Sanctuary in their mission to save horses by merely clicking on the logo below. Just type in "H.O.R.S.E. Rescue & Sanctuary" and register. It's that simple and easy. Every time you click anywhere on the page, they will send us $0.01 to aid in our effort. If you can click on everyday that would mean $20-$40 a year from just you. Please tell your friends about us. Thank you.
Save Horses From Slaughter
We are a horse rescue, non-profit association listed with the Secretary of State of California as of January of 1996.
Life Foundation
On January 1, 1999, Barbara Eustis-Cross passed away. She was a founding board member of ERNI and the Executive Director of the L.I.F.E. Foundation. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and associates in the fields of equine rescue, animal welfare, and especially wild horse and burro issues. You may wish to visit her Memorial Page.
